A Cozy Stay with Delightful Dining
I enjoyed three nights in a comfortable double room. The restaurant's excellent menu featured delicious meals, especially next to the crackling fire that warmed the room on chilly evenings. Don't miss trying their seasonal specials. they truly elevate your dining experience. Perfect stop for a relaxing getaway!

Room location near wedding venues adds convenience. The view over a nearby field with grazing sheep offers a peaceful atmosphere, enhancing the stay. The restaurant served satisfying meals for both dinner and breakfast, contributing to a pleasant dining experience.
The accommodations feel dated, echoing styles from the 70s or 80s, with noticeable wear and tear on walls and furniture. Lighting in the room is inadequate, particularly around the mirror, which can make getting ready a challenge. Maintenance issues like tough door mechanisms and single plug sockets reflect a need for improvement, and the lack of proper air conditioning could make hotter days uncomfortable. The balcony area is unkempt, diminishing potential outdoor enjoyment. While it may suit some, the overall experience could be drastically enhanced with an upgrade.

Great spot, but needs a bit of TLC!
Had a nice stay in a disability access room, lots of space which was cool. Really liked the breakfast, it was lovely! But the bathroom was kinda outdated, and you could see it needed some fixing up. Plus, the dining was a mixed bag—great bar, but the roast beef was chewy. Might give it another shot.

I guess bed bugs wanted to join the party! Next time, I’ll just bring my own duvet and leave the blood stains behind.
